One Mom's Journey

I'm Laura; mom, wife, daughter, sister, social media marketer, author/illustrator, and blogger.  I started blogging about motherhood, working full time, entrepreneurship and reviews on all that goes along with it and I coin it my journey.  Why?  Because that is what life is - a journey.   For instance, the journey that led me to this outlet for all my ideas and motivational direction was the creation of Susy the Soother Fairy.

Desperate to get my daughter off her "sue-sue" addiction, I made up a story that I would tell her in preparation of her being three.  I told her the story over and over until I decided that it was time to take this tale and turn it into a real tangible book. So I began writing and illustrating Susy the Soother Fairy.

It worked.  It motivated me to do more.  So, I am back at it, full force with my blogging, writing/illustrating and marketing my book...all the while, I am working full time and raising my kids.  I cannot wait to share and motivate any of you in a similar situation.
